Zip ^hot^ — Solange Solangel And The Hadley Stdreams

: You can listen to the full album on platforms like Spotify or TIDAL .

Moving away from the conventional commercial R&B of her 2002 debut Solo Star , Solange designed Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams as a vibrant homage to 1960s Motown soul, early 1970s psychedelic pop, and underground electronic music. Record executives deliberately aimed the project at an "intellectual, backpacking, coffee shop, digital kid" demographic. To build this hybrid world, Solange collaborated with an eclectic roster of producers and artists, including Mark Ronson, Pharrell Williams, Q-Tip, Bilal, and Thievery Corporation.
